The Albertina Museum is one of Vienna’s leading art institutions, known for its outstanding collection of modern and contemporary art. Its permanent exhibition Monet to Picasso presents highlights from Impressionism, Expressionism, the Russian avant-garde and masterpieces by Picasso.

Schönbrunn Palace is Vienna’s former imperial summer residence and one of Austria’s most important cultural monuments. Visitors can explore the original imperial state rooms and learn about Maria Theresa, Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Elisabeth, known as Sisi.

The Sisi Museum in the Vienna Hofburg offers a personal look at Empress Elisabeth. Since 2004, it has displayed numerous personal objects that help reveal the personality of the often misunderstood empress.
